My name is Vyacheslav Egorov. I am part programmer, part mathematician, part philoshopher.
I am also a big fan of Lua programming language (e.g. this site was built on top of Orbit framework) and functional programming paradigm.
My research interests focus on the design and implementation of programming languages. This includes formal semantics, optimization techniques, runtime support and even IDEs.
You can take a look at my bachelor ("Formal Specification and Implementation of a Generation Garbage Collector", pdf, in Russian) and master thesises (Supporting OSGi Runtime at the JVM level, pdf, in Russian)
In July 2009 I graduated from Novosibirsk State University and left a sofware developer&researcher position at Excelsior LLC. Since then I was participating as a freelancer in various projects (reverse engeneering, Firefox extensions, Browser Helper Objects, Outlook addins, J2EE etc.).
In December 2009 I accepted an offer to join Google Ã…rhus team.
to be continued ;-)
